It is an event in which the mikoshi that runs down the steep stone steps immediately after leaving the shrine enters the waterfall basin with a bearer to pray for health, safety, and peace.

 

 

Men dressed in white carry the shrine from Todoroki Shrine and run down the steep stone steps of 140 steps. Walk through the precincts of Ryuoji Temple to the waterfall, pass through the rocks, cross the river, and enter the waterfall basin.
