Kaiyo Town Tourist Association (hereinafter referred to as Association) recognizes the importance of personal information protection and tries to properly acquire, manage and handle personal information at the website of Association by having our representatives and staff members comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and the basic policies of Association.
Also the matters mentioned below are appropriately reviewed and improved as necessary.
1) Handling of Personal Information
The website of Association (the domain of https://www.kaiyo-kankou.jp/ (hereinafter referred to as Website)) is operated by Association.
Association acquires personal information by lawful and fair means and strictly manages such information.
Personal information may be provided at Website by the judgments of the users of Website in some cases, but such information is required to the minimum extent necessary and other information is provided by respecting the judgments of the users of Website.
The information collected by Association is properly handled within the scope of purposes of utilization.
The information collected at markets such as “Kaiyo Town Motto Mankitsu Campaign Marine Jam Suginoko Market” is used only in the respective entities and facilities concerned and is not shared by other facilities in principle. Moreover, when information is shared by others, such information is shared after the permits of the individuals concerned are obtained.
2)Collection and Use of Personal Information
The personal information that was provided at the time of data requests to Association and applications for various events is not used for purposes other than provision of information from Association to the persons themselves.
3) Purposes of Use of Personal Information
Association uses personal information for the following purposes:
- (1)Delivery of guidance and other materials requested
- (2)Delivery of various materials requested in the case where such materials are desired
As for the above-mentioned purposes of utilization, the shipping operations to deliver pamphlets, application guidelines, and others may be outsourced in some cases.
As for such outsourcing, however, the commitment of partner companies to personal information protection is strictly examined, and operations are outsourced after the pledge not to use the personal information provided for things other than the purposes of utilization is made.
4) Disclosure and Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
Personal information is not disclosed or provided to third parties without the consent of the parties concerned unless otherwise approved by laws and regulations and agreed upon beforehand in person.
In the case where users themselves desire to disclose, correct or delete their personal information, Association promptly responds after the verification of their personal identification.

5) Compliance with Laws and Regulations and Continuous Review
Association complies with Japan’s laws and other rules on personal information protection, and also continuously reviews and improves the contents of this regulation.
